The layout of the map is from the perspective of the sidewalk: buses at the RIGHT of the CURRENT WAVE are the first to leave while buses at the LEFT of the NEXT WAVE are closest to entering the current wave.

The RED cells are buses that you have pinned. The BLUE BORDER cells are the projected positions of pinned buses in the next wave once the current wave leaves.
